Live Broadcast of the FIFA World Cup Final
Members of the public had the opportunity to watch the live broadcast of the FIFA World Cup Final at the Municipal Town Hall from 23:00 hrs to 02:00 hrs.
World Cup Fever – Free Sports Clinic & Community Tournament
An open-to-all community event featuring professionally coached sports clinics, mini-tournaments, a freestyle football skills challenge, and a variety of family-friendly games will be held from 13:30 hrs to 16:30 hrs at the Municipal Council Yard, Queen Elizabeth Avenue, Curepipe.
Petanque Tournament
Sunday 19 July 2026 as from 1 00 hrs at the Petanque Pitch found within the yard of the Dr James Burty David Gymnasium, Curepipe.
26 teams participated in the tournament.
The results are as follows :
First : Team 15 – Mr Evano Sheik Adam & Mr Sonu Beetun
Second : Team 19 – Mr Aman Beetun & Mr Noah Kisnorbo
Third : Team 23 – Mr Philip Sham & Mr Jean Hansraj
