THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF CUREPIPE
ONLINE APPLICATION FOR BUILDING AND LAND USE PERMIT
AND OCCUPATION CERTIFICATE
The public is hereby informed that as from Tuesday 28 May 2019, applications
for Building and Land Use Permits to the Municipal Council of Curepipe should
be made online on the Government of Mauritius Business Licensing Platform
https://business.edbmauritius.org
Applicants are kindly requested to solicit the help of their service providers
(architects, engineers, land surveyors and draughtsmen) to assist them in
submitting their applications online.
Holders of Building and Land Use Permits are hereby informed that in
accordance with Section 120 C of the Local Government Act 2011, as
subsequently amended, where a building or part of a building has been erected
pursuant to a Building and Land Use Permit, that building or part of that
building shall not be inhabited, used or occupied, unless an occupation
certificate has been issued by the Municipal Council of Curepipe. Application
for occupation certificate also have to be made on the same platform.

the Land Use and Planning Department.
